Information Officer
In accordance with POPIA, we have appointed an Information Officer responsible for:

Processing Principles
We adhere to the following POPIA processing principles:
- Accountability: We take responsibility for how we process personal information
- Purpose specification: Information is collected for specific, lawful purposes
- Minimality: We only collect what is necessary for the purpose
- Transparency: Data subjects are informed of collection and processing
- Data quality: We take reasonable steps to ensure information is accurate
- Security safeguards: Appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place
- Data subject participation: You have rights to access and correct your information
Cross-Border Data Transfers
We may transfer personal information outside South Africa only when:
- The recipient country has adequate data protection laws
- The recipient is bound by contract to protect the information
- The data subject has consented to the transfer
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law (e.g., tax records: 5 years, employment records: 7 years).
Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will:
- Notify the Information Regulator within 72 hours
- Notify affected data subjects where required
- Take immediate steps to contain and remediate the breach
Your Rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal information (Section 23)
- Request correction or deletion of inaccurate information
- Object to processing of your information
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator
